The Djed pillar, symbolizing stability and regeneration, also played a pivotal role in the Heb Sed festival, a jubilant celebration of a pharaoh's reign and renewal, held after reigning thirty years, and every three years thereafter for the life of the pharaoh. As part of the festival, the raising of the Djed pillar ritual was performed to ensure the pharaoh's continued rule and prosperity.
