Ancient Egyptian Crown of Pharaoh Taharqa / Kushite King

Well-known for the double Uraeus that sits atop his golden crown, Taharqa was a pharaoh of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty of Egypt who ruled from approximately 690 BC to 664 BC. He was the son of King Piye and is known for his military campaigns against the Assyrians, as well as his patronage of art and architecture in Nubia and Egypt.
