The Egyptians loved the stylised decoration of the starry night sky by painting rows of five pointed golden stars against a lapis or Egyptian Blue background. It was a very important decorative element in tombs from the 18th dynasty onward and reaches the pinnacle in the tomb of Queen Nefertari.
Finished with a decorative Egyptian 'Rishi' pattern border on the sleeves and body this elegant pattern is sure to captivate and make you the centre over everyone's attention!
